I made this journey at eleven.
I never stopped making it.
My family came to Israel in the early 1990s, when I was a child. We arrived with the same questions every Jewish family arrives with: what happens to our papers, our schooling, our place. There was nobody to walk us through it. We learned the hard way.
I started Welcome Israel in 2014 because I had watched too many Jewish families try to do this alone — or worse, hand the most personal decision of their lives to an anonymous service that didn’t pick up the phone.
Our team is small on purpose. Every family hears a voice, not a ticket number. When you call us, you reach a person who has either made this journey themselves, or guided thousands who have. That is the only kind of accompaniment I am willing to put my name on.
